Kleinburg – Where there’s more Explore!

Arial view of Kleinburg with multiple houses in view and autmn forests visible in the distance

Earlier this year I wrote about many of the great places to explore in the Vaughan, Woodbridge and Kleinburg area. We’re made for families and in fact, my family and I have lived in this area our entire lives so I know a little bit about what I’m sharing today, and what I have shared in the past. In that previous blog, * hyperlink here * the one community I did not go into a lot of detail about was Kleinburg and to be honest, that’s because it deserves a blog all on its own. When it’s safe to go out again, there’s more to explore in Kleinburg where you’ll find the best of both worlds – a small town feel with big city amenities. If you’re looking for a new home, consider Kleinburg.

Start your visit to this beautiful village with a stop at the McMichael Gallery. Here you will find stunning examples of Canadian art including works by the Group of Seven, Indigenous artists and a Sculpture Garden situated on over 100 acres. The Tom Thomson Shack is also on the property and nearby, in a restored United Church you’ll find the Pierre Berton Heritage Centre where you can learn more about his life, his work and his award winning writing. A resident of this community for over 55 years he was devoted to supporting “all things Kleinburg.”

If you would like to not only live here but get married too – you can do that! Kleinburg plays host to the beautiful and charming Doctor’s House that dates back to 1867, the same year our nation was founded. There’s a lovely chapel on site and several banquet facilities for weddings of every size – even small pandemic weddings when they are allowed again! If you’ve already tied the knot and just need a night out away from the kids, there are a number of great dining experiences in the area, many of them located in the central village core that is a beautiful place to wander. Speaking of meandering down village streets, feel free to bring along the children on a sunny Sunday afternoon, enjoy the scenery and perhaps a coffee from one of the speciality shops or treat the kiddos to an ice cream or a treat from The Old Firehall Confectionary.

Now that you’ve planned a visit, fallen in love and want to live here too – I can help! I currently have a number of active listings in the area and I know there is one amongst them that’s just right for you. Whether you are looking for a lot to build on, a new home, you’re hoping to downsize or ready to expand, Kleinburg and the surrounding area have much to offer. As an added bonus, you are never far away from big city amenities like easy access to prime shopping locations for food, fashion and home furnishings and if you need ways to keep the kids entertained, in sports or encouraging a love of reading – we have libraries, recreation centres and more.

The real estate market continues to move at a fast pace and I anticipate this will continue throughout the spring and into the summer. Whether you are looking to buy (in Kleinburg or anywhere in the Vaughan, Woodbridge area) I’m a real estate agent you can rely on. If it’s time to sell, I’ve got you covered. I think of life with gratitude, respect and with love for my family (and real estate too!) That’s what motivates me to help other families like yours to “Buy with Confidence and Sell with Success!”
